I move into town this friday! from victoria bc=)

AND
the first thing i'd like to hit up(that is, just before going dancing)is a sweet health food store. Any suggestions for the best place to find;

*wide selection of organic bulk(somewhere i can put food directly into mason jars) vitamins/supplements
*fresh organic produce and dairy products
*co-op run if possible
*in the area(ish): east of the don valley parkway and north of danforth

it's a tall order i know, perhaps i will need to visit a few shops to get it all.

thx for the tips
much love!

    First you've got Whole Foods north of Bloor Street on 'Avenue Q' or Avenue St. -something like that. That's between Bay and St. George subway stops.

    ...but they'll charge you higher WF price's than in the US! Though, they do have the selection.....

    For the best deals and some bulk items, there are several cute little Organic Grocers in Kensington Market. Just go there and ask around, they're easy to find. It's also a great place to hang out.

    Hope that helps.

    this post is ooooooold but I feel like adding in my west-end suggestions

    - Karma Co-op is the best, it's small, well-stocked, and heavy on community, hidden behind a row of houses near Bathurst and Bloor (www.karmacoop.org)
    - Organics on Bloor, on Bloor between Spadina and Bathurst
